The Linux shapecfg command is used to control the traffic of network devices.

Since Linux-2.15Starting with, it supports the function of traffic control.

Syntax

shapecfg attach [traffic controller][network device]

or

shapecfg speed [traffic controller][bandwidth]

Parameter Description:

• attach Combine the traffic control device with the actual network device.
• speed Set the external transmission bandwidth of the traffic control device.
