2, download win10ISO file

I just downloaded a ghost X64version, there are many other programs in a mess, the system needs to be uninstalled after installation, it is best to use a clean version.

3, install VMware Workstation 14 Pro

(1Copy the just downloaded .bundle file to the specified folder, such as vmware.

(2Enter the folder, open the terminal, modify the permissions of the .bundle file, I usually use sudo chmod 777 VMware-Workstation-Full-14.0.0-6661328.x86_64.bundle.

(3Run the .bundle file with administrative privileges: sudo ./VMware-Workstation-Full-14.0.0-6661328.x86_64.bundle.

4, then follow the installation steps one by one, set the username and installation path according to your preference, and the serial number is above. After installation, enter vmware in the search of local and online resources in the sidebar, you can find it, and then you can use it.

5, open VMware Workstation 14 Pro, create a virtual machine.

(1Virtual Machine Configuration select Custom (advanced), then click next.

(2Virtual Machine Hardw Compatibility click next directly.

(3Install operating system from select Use ISO image, navigate to the just downloaded win10 iso file, if there is a red exclamation mark below, don't worry about it, then click next.

(4Guest Operating System select the first Microsoft windows, below Version choose Windows according to the downloaded iso file 10 x64Then click next.

(5Virtual Machine Name, this is to name according to your preference and choose win10The installation folder, then click next.

(6Firmware Type I chose biso

(7Processors, the Number of processors is best to choose2The Number of cores per processors below also choose2That is dual-core four threads, otherwise the win installed10very slow response.

(8Memory, at least4G.

(9Network Connection select NAT mode, no explanation needed, just google why.

(10I/O Controller Type, click next directly.

(11Virtual Disk Type, use scsi, then click next.

(12Disk. This option is to create a new virtual disk

(13Disk Size. I used80G, a bit small. I choose 'Store virtual disk as a single file'. Then click next.

(14Disk File. Choose a name and location according to your preference.

(15)Finish.

So we have created it. Next is to install win10. There is nothing much to say.

I use Yulinmu Feng's GHOST WIN10 X64version installed, use pq partition, and80G is divided into two directly40G, one primary partition and one logical partition, then installed by GHOST.

Some issues to note.

1. If you encounter the prompt "Intel VT-x is disabled, you need to restart the computer, enter BIOS, find CPU Configuration, set the Intel Virtualization Technology item to Enable, and then save BIOS and restart.

2. After the system is installed, restart and prompt operating system not found!

Reason:If the first partition is not activated after partitioning, you can solve this problem by using relevant tools, such as the DOS toolset provided by Yulinmu Feng. Put this disk into the optical drive, start the virtual machine. Run [Yulinmu Feng DOS toolset], enter the partition table management command: DISKGEN (the system disk may be different), confirm to enter the management interface. Then select your C disk in the pop-up window, and click Partition → Activate (F7), the shortcut key is F7, then hard disk → save, then hard disk → exit. Then restart the computer, and the problem is solved.
