ISO 639is the language code formulated for each language by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 639The title is Codes for the representation of names of languages (Codes for the representation of names of languages), divided into six parts.
The lang attribute of HTML can be used to declare the language of a web page or part of a web page. This is helpful for search engines and browsers.
According to W3C Recommendation Standard, you should declare the main language of each page through the lang attribute in the <html> tag, such as:

In XHTML, the language is declared in the <html> tag as follows:
