Elasticsearch Log UI

Kibana can also help visualize log data from various sources. Logs are an important source of analysis for infrastructure performance, security vulnerabilities, and other requirements.

Logstash Logs

In Kibana, we can connect to logstash logs for visualization. First, we select the 'Logs' button from the Kibana main screen, as shown below-

Then, we select the 'Change Source Configuration' option, which brings us the option to choose Logstash as the source. The following screen also displays other types of options we have as log sources.

You can stream data for real-time log tracking, or pause the stream to focus on historical log data. When streaming logs, the latest logs are displayed at the bottom of the console.
