SQLite Autoincrement (Autoincrement)

The SQLite AUTOINCREMENT keyword is used to automatically increment the value of a field in a table. We can use the AUTOINCREMENT keyword to automatically increment the value of a field when creating a table with a specific column name.

Keywords AUTOINCREMENT Can only be used with INTEGER fields.

Syntax

AUTOINCREMENTBasic usage of keywords is as follows-

CREATE　TABLE　table_name(
　　　column1　INTEGER　AUTOINCREMENT,
　　　column2　datatype,
　　　column3　datatype,
　　　.....
　　　columnN　datatype,
);
